1: Arrive

Welcome in the New Year with an
unforgettable holiday vacation. Today we jet away to sunny southern
California to enjoy the event of the year... the Tournament of Roses
Parade. For the next 5 nights, you'll reside at the outstanding Doubletree
Hotel in the Anaheim area. Your accommodations are ideally located next to "The Block" full of restaurants and shops. This evening, visit the magnificent Crystal Cathedral where you can experience "The Glory of Christmas." Spectacular sound effects and elaborate staging complete with the angels and live animals, all combine as the Nativity unfolds for you in this inspirational pageant. (D)

2: Getty Museum
This morning you'll travel to the Getty Museum, where you can view exhibits of Greek and Roman antiquities, European paintings, photographs, manuscripts, and sculptures. (B)

3: Ronald Reagan Library
Today after breakfast you'll visit the impressive Ronald Reagan Library & Museum. Here you'll take a fascinating journey from Reagan's Hollywood Days to his ever growing involvement in politics. You'll even board Air Force One which served as the "Flying White House" for Reagan and 6 other U.S. Presidents. Later enjoy a special dinner aboard the Queen Mary. (B,D)

4: San Juan Capistrano
This morning, you'll travel to San Juan Capistrano and visit the renowned 18th century mission famous for its swallows annual return. This afternoon is free to enjoy the amenities of your hotel, including an outdoor heated swimming pool, fitness center, full service restaurant, and lounge area. This evening, you'll enjoy a delicious dinner and New Year's Eve Gala at your hotel. (B,D)

5: Tournament of Roses Parade
Rise and shine early this morning as you travel to Pasadena for
the celebration of the 119th Tournament of Roses Parade. Here, you'll
have reserved grandstand seats to view one of the most photographed
events in the world. Beautiful floral floats and marching bands from
all over North America combine to create a parade like no other. Later,
you'll get a fascinating close-up look at these elaborately crafted floats, which will be on display after the
parade comes to an end. You'll see many of the spectacular floral decorations
and marvel over the thousands of fragrant cut flowers that make this
one of the world's most popular parades. (B)

for Home
We must bid good-bye to sunny California this morning
as the New Year's festivities come to an end. What wonderful memories
