1:
Fly to Lima, Peru You’ll journey to Peru, one of the treasures of
South America, the “City of Kings.” Your accommodations
for three nights are provided at
the Antonio Executive Hotel.

2:
Lima This morning is free to relax. Today, enjoy a
guided tour of Lima and see the Cathedral and the
Church of San Francisco. Later, join your fellow
travelers for a fabulous dinner at a top Peruvian
restaurant, next to one of Lima’s most historic
temples, beautifully illuminated at night. (B,D)

3:
Lima
This morning, visit the Archaeologial Museum,
showcasing the progression of Peru’s various
early civilizations from the Chavin in 1200 BC to
the Incas. At midday, we journey into the countryside
to visit a unique ranch for lunch. Here,
you’ll enjoy an award-winning horse demonstration by the Peruvian Paso, known for its unique
high stepping. This evening, enjoy a memorable
private dinner party at one of the area’s most
prestigious homes filled with colonial art and period
furniture. You’ll sample sumptuous homecooked
local dishes and enjoy your host’s
entertaining stories of Lima’s intriguing high society.

Day
4: Lima/Cusco/Sacred Valley of the Incas Today, you’ll fly to Cusco and travel to the local
village of Pisac, famous for its colorful market.
This bustling market attracts tourists from all
over the world to try their hand at bartering for
local sweaters, ponchos, and jewelry. Later,
visit the spectacular fortress of Ollantaytambo,
the only Incan settlement that has been continuously
inhabited since its inception. You’ll
be amazed by the intricate walled complex,
topped by an amazing set of huge carved stone
panels. These ruins are a magnificent example
of ancient Incan architecture. This evening,
you’ll reside at the Sonesta Posada del Inca

5:
Sacred Valley/Machu Picchu
 Begin your day with a magnificent train ride on
the “Vistadome” through the Andes Mountains
to the “Lost City of the Incas.” Surrounded by
tropical jungle and hidden by the Andes Mountains,
Machu Picchu is widely considered one
of the most spectacular sights in the world.
You’ll join a local guide for an in-depth exploration
of this fascinating area, uncovering its
mysteries before overnighting at the Sumaq
Machu Picchu Hotel. (B,D)

6:
Machu picchu/Cusco This morning, you’ll have the opportunity to return
once again to Machu Picchu. Later, take
the train to Cusco, where you’ll enjoy a two night
stay at the Jose Antonio Cusco Hotel. (B,L,D)

7: Cusco Today, you’ll tour Cusco, the once storied capital
of the Incan Empire. You’ll see the Plaza de
Armas, a large square which was the center of
the ancient city. This afternoon, explore the ruins
of the military fortress of Sacsayhuaman. This
evening, enjoy dinner and a folkloric show. (B,D)

8:
Cusco/Lima/Fly overnight to Return Home Enjoy breakfast before flying back to Lima and
visiting the fascinating Gold Museum containing
an impressive arrangement of Incan gold.

Arrive Home Today, you’ll arrive home with fond memories of
this fascinating adventure.
